If the built-ins poll was an athletic event, it quite possibly would have been the most boring one ever.  Everyone would have left at halftime.  Apparently, understated is out.  Like way, way, way out.  It’s so far out that only one person voted for Option #1 and can you guess who that person was?  It was me.  I didn’t like it more either.  I just felt bad about it getting no love at all.  Call it a sympathy vote if you would like.  At least now Option #1 can walk away knowing that it wasn’t totally shutout and even though Option #2 hit a grand slam off of it, it isn’t a total failure as a pitcher.  Sorry, that got personal.

Something that we know for sure is that you all know what you want and you want tall built-ins.  The other thing that is for sure is that it’s time to stop talking about this project and start working on it.  We will update all of you on our progress as soon as things start coming together (which will hopefully be very soon, but let’s not even bother to throw any timelines into this equation.)

Oh! Also, we are happy to say that Ronan finished the brick inside of the mantle!  We put a photo on our Instagram feed the other night, but almost no one even knows we are on Instagram, so you obviously didn’t see it.  Please keep in mind that we are just getting started with that account and realize that right now it looks pretty pathetic.  In no way could we claim to be proud of the situation there, but we are working on it!  Now that I got that off of my chest, I am going to suggest that you follow us on Instagram at “Ahomedecided” if you want to be totally up-to-date on what is happening around here. There might be instances in the future when I am not able to write a full blog post, but will be able to put a quick picture update on our Instagram account.
